Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will support and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance across all systems.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls, VPNs, WAN links, and other network equipment.
• Maintain Windows servers (2012, 2016, 2019) and client operating systems, applying firmware updates, hot‑fixes, and patches.
• Monitor security alerts, perform security hardening, and manage antivirus solutions.
• Administer the VMWare virtual environment and oversee equipment inventory and ticketing systems.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, after hours, and as a proactive team player.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (2016, 2019, 365) and Windows OS (8, 8.1, 10).
• Firewall configuration, management and monitoring.
• VPN & policy configuration and maintenance.
• WAN maintenance and monitoring.
• Firmware updates, hot‑fixes, patches.
• Network equipment (switches, routers, fiber connections) configuration and administration.
• VMWare virtual environment administration.
• Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019.
• Antivirus configuration, management and monitoring.
• Security alerts monitoring and security hardening.
• Equipment inventory management and ticketing system usage.
