HR Generalist – Porto

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to deliver high‑quality HR services across resourcing, employee relations and business objectives while ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory requirements. The role works closely with onboarding, Social Security and the site team to foster a performance‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support the site with proactive HR services covering resourcing, employee relations and compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding documentation, prepare labor contracts and communicate daily joiners and leavers to Social Security.
• Conduct background checks, maintain historical data archives and ensure daily exit inhibitions.
• Record new hires in the HR system, create employee declarations and work certifications.
• Support motivation activities and stay up‑to‑date with employment legislation.
• Collaborate with the site team to develop a performance‑driven culture encouraging individual ownership and development.

Required profile

• Native or proficient Portuguese and English (C1 level mandatory).
• Excellent listening and written/oral communication skills.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, self‑organized with strong planning and prioritisation abilities.
• Patience, empathy, ability to manage stress and work under pressure.
• Technical aptitude, quick learner of new technologies and ability to follow guidelines.
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal and availability for a hybrid work model (Monday‑Friday, 8 h‑18 h).
