Head of Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Revolut is seeking a senior leader to head the Regulatory Compliance function for its French entity. You will ensure that all products and operations meet local and international banking regulations while fostering a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and lead the Regulatory Compliance function, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PSD2, MiFID, MiCA and GDPR.
• Support the Chief Compliance Officer and collaborate with Financial Crime and Group Regulatory Compliance teams.
• Develop and implement a scalable compliance programme aligned with group standards and regulatory expectations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to embed compliance controls into platforms and customer journeys.
• Monitor regulatory changes, design risk assessments and update policies and procedures.
• Provide training, engage with regulators and oversee accurate regulatory reporting.
• Support inspections, audits and advise senior leadership on compliance risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of regulatory compliance experience.
• Background in large banks or high‑growth fintech companies.
• Proven ability to build and lead compliance functions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with regulators and internal teams.
