Head of Product

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Product to turn the Sentient Foundation’s research into public‑facing products such as agent evaluation platforms, benchmarks, leaderboards, datasets, developer tools and community launches. You will lead the product function from concept through launch, working closely with research, engineering, design, marketing, business development and the open‑source community.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end 0‑to‑1 product launches, translating research agendas into specifications, user journeys, success metrics and launch plans.
• Define and drive the Foundation’s product strategy, roadmap and priorities.
• Lead the Agents & Evaluation product team and act as the primary product counterpart to Sentient Labs.
• Package technical work into usable assets – documentation, demos, benchmarks, leaderboards, blog posts and developer workflows.
• Run developer‑facing programs such as challenges, hackathons, cohorts and partner‑backed launches.
• Build feedback loops from developers, researchers, partners and open‑source contributors to inform the roadmap.
• Shape product strategy for emerging categories like agent evaluation and open‑source AI distribution.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product experience in AI/ML, developer platforms, infrastructure or technical tools, including leading a product team or owning a product function.
• Proven track record of shipping complex 0‑to‑1 products in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• Hands‑on familiarity with large language models, AI agents, evaluation systems, benchmarking or model deployment workflows.
• Technical background sufficient to debate trade‑offs with researchers and engineers.
• Exceptional communication skills to turn dense technical work into clear product narratives.
• High ownership, urgency and ability to connect across multiple stakeholders.
