Head of Marketing (Sports & Leisure)

About the role

The Head of Marketing will lead the marketing strategy for the Sports & Leisure portfolio managed by A DETAILS, ensuring brand consistency, driving demand and supporting commercial performance across multiple hospitality and golf assets in Portugal and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee brand positioning across all assets, ensuring consistency and clarity.
• Lead demand generation through integrated campaigns (digital, partnerships, trade marketing and social media).
• Guide social media strategy and performance across the portfolio.
• Develop marketing plans per asset, tailored to positioning and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with Sales to support revenue generation, partnerships and key commercial initiatives.
• Manage and mentor the central and local marketing teams, ensuring clear direction and execution.
• Align central strategy with on‑site execution and support local marketing resources.
• Manage relationships with external agencies (creative, media, digital) to ensure quality and consistency.
• Define and monitor KPIs, leveraging data and insights (CRM, Power BI, digital analytics) to optimise performance and ROI.
• Control and optimise the marketing budget across assets and initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a fast‑paced, multi‑brand environment.
• Previous leadership or managerial marketing role.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset with ability to align initiatives to business objectives.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in performance tracking, budgeting and data‑driven decision making.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
