Head of Construction Iberia

About the role

Nadara is seeking a Head of Construction for the Iberian market to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects across wind, solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The role combines technical expertise, strategic planning, and on‑site leadership to turn complex development plans into operational assets that support the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the construction execution strategy for wind, solar and BESS projects, including sequencing, resource planning, contracting and alignment with permitting and regulatory requirements.
• Support the contracting phase by providing construction requirements to Execution Project Management and Procurement, covering site and transport logistics.
• Collaborate with Engineering during the design phase to optimise construction costs.
• Validate construction readiness before site mobilisation, ensuring schedules, budgets, logistics plans and methodologies are approved and integrated.
• Provide governance oversight of daily site execution in partnership with Project Managers, ensuring safety, schedule, cost and quality objectives are met.
• Monitor construction performance and drive continuous improvement across the Iberian portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale renewable energy construction programmes.
• Strong technical background in wind, solar and BESS technologies.
• Excellent planning and on‑site leadership capabilities.
• Focus on performance, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.
