Architect – PIP & Architectural Projects (Lisbon)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Architect to manage the full cycle of residential, commercial and development projects in Lisbon, from the initial PIP (Pedido de Informação Prévia) submission through municipal approval to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and submit PIP applications.
• Coordinate architectural projects for municipal approval and handle comments, revisions and resubmissions.
• Collaborate with civil and structural engineers, MEP consultants, surveyors and other technical teams.
• Produce and review architectural drawings, technical documents and submission packages.
• Attend meetings with municipalities and authorities, and conduct site visits to support construction teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Architecture degree recognised in Portugal.
• Relevant professional experience in Portugal, including PIP and licensing procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese planning regulations, PDM and municipal building approval processes.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese; English is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Authorization to work in Portugal; registration with Ordem dos Arquitectos preferred.

• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe software.
