Head of Consolidation

About the role

The Head of Consolidation is responsible for the accuracy, consistency and integrity of BA Glass Group’s financial information. This senior finance position leads group consolidation, monthly and annual closing processes, internal control coordination and high‑quality reporting to management, the Board and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly group consolidation process in SAP BPC, ensuring accurate P&L, balance sheet, equity movements and inter‑company eliminations.
• Own and monitor the monthly closing calendar, coordinating deadlines, financial checklists and key postings across all local finance teams.
• Act as process owner for finance master data, maintaining G/L accounts, reporting hierarchies and ensuring changes are documented and controlled.
• Coordinate the annual closing, prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements and serve as the main finance counterpart for external auditors.
• Support ESG and sustainability reporting in collaboration with corporate functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to coordinate monthly and annual closing activities across multiple entities.
• Strong governance mindset with experience driving harmonisation of finance processes and master data.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting requirements.
