About the role
The Guest Arrival Ambassador, also known as a Bagageiro, creates the first and last impression for hotel guests. Working at a Marriott property in Albufeira, you will welcome guests, assist with luggage, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience that leaves a lasting positive memory.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Assist with luggage handling, moving items up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
- Process operational tasks such as check‑in/check‑out support, report completion, and handling guest requests.
- Share local area highlights and answer guest questions about the hotel and surrounding attractions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to company policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- No prior work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Willingness to work full‑time in an on‑site hotel environment.
Required skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage as described.
