GSE & Tools Technician / Handyman – Aviation MRO

About the role

Join our aviation MRO team as a GSE & Tools Technician / Handyman, ensuring that all ground support equipment and tools are ready, organized, and fully functional. You will also perform minor facility maintenance to keep the work environment safe and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, control, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of ground support equipment (GSE).
• Organize inventory, inspect, and maintain work tools in good condition.
• Perform minor repairs on facilities, including simple electrical work, painting, basic carpentry, and small construction tasks.
• Support the operations team in equipment preparation and handling.
• Coordinate with external suppliers when required.
• Follow internal safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, equipment replacement, or improvement requests.

Required profile

• High school diploma (preferred) and a forklift operator’s license (preferred).
• Proficiency in English.
• Previous experience in technical, maintenance, GSE, tools, or handyman roles.
• General knowledge of basic electricity, simple mechanics, and DIY tasks.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and solve problems.
• Team player with flexibility to support various operational areas.
• Availability to work full‑time on‑site in Cascais.
