ElectroMechanical Technician

About the role

The ElectroMechanical Technician will assemble and maintain innovative electro‑mechanical equipment, following technical blueprints, schematics and manuals. The role requires a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement within an industrial or automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and follow technical blueprints, schematics and manuals to ensure correct assembly.
• Assemble electro‑mechanical equipment to high‑quality standards using electrical and manual tools.
• Inspect products, components and raw materials for compliance.
• Repair or replace faulty components, wiring and mechanical parts as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to other operators.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; CET or Level 5 (CNQ – DGERT) degree is a plus.
• Experience in an industrial or automotive sector.
• Willingness to work in high places, confined spaces and around high‑voltage equipment.
• Physical ability to lift 35 kg and perform demanding tasks, including standing, kneeling and crouching.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
