Group Internal Auditor

About the role

The Group Internal Auditor will join Sodexo’s global audit team, providing independent assurance across all 43 countries where the group operates. Reporting to senior management, you will evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risk exposures and advise on corrective actions to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits covering all functions, locations and activities of the group.
• Assess compliance with Sodexo Group policies and procedures.
• Identify control gaps, risk‑management weaknesses and propose strategic improvements.
• Analyse root causes of deficiencies and develop actionable recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports in English and present findings to local and Group management.
• Coach senior managers on best practices in internal control and risk mitigation.
• Connect audit insights to broader business objectives, highlighting trends and sharing best practices across the organisation.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective follow‑up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, internal audit or risk management within a large, multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to work independently and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
