Groundskeeper (Landscape Laborer)

About the role

ABM is seeking a reliable individual to maintain property grounds. The role involves everyday landscaping tasks, snow removal, and basic facility upkeep, providing on‑the‑job training for entry‑level candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and trimming walkways, flower beds, and walls.
• Trim and prune bushes, trees, and plant new shrubs and flowers.
• Apply lawn‑care chemicals and fertilizers as needed.
• Remove litter, empty trash cans, and keep roads, parking lots, and walkways safe.
• Perform snow and ice removal, spreading salt or sand and applying ice melter.
• Conduct basic carpentry and painting tasks.
• Maintain and service mowers, blowers, sprinkler systems, and watering equipment.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
