GMP Technician – Cleanroom Operations

About the role

The GMP Technician ensures that assigned cleanroom areas remain compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Working closely with team members, the technician follows written and verbal instructions to maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean and orderly GMP work areas, including walls, floors, windows, and equipment.
• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks following SOPs.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and adhere to safety rules.
• Complete daily FN logs and report maintenance issues.
• Support shift lead with punch‑list items and work orders.
• Act as a fill‑in for staff shortages when needed.
• Follow all customer and SBM SOPs, including gowning procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant cleaning or GMP experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, manuals, and SOPs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills
