About the role

The Volunteer and Recruitment Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Isabela, Puerto Rico. This role leads the planning, coordination, and management of Mi Patria’s volunteer programs that support housing, education, and community initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
• Organize volunteer schedules, assign tasks, and monitor participation.
• Maintain positive relationships with volunteers, staff, and community partners.
• Track volunteer impact metrics and provide regular reports to leadership.
• Develop recruitment strategies, host outreach events, and align volunteer efforts with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Strong recruiting skills to design and optimize volunteer recruitment and retention processes.
• Proven ability in employee relations and communication to build trust and foster an inclusive environment.
• Experience in training and development to deliver orientations, workshops, and ongoing support.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management abilities with attention to detail.
