General Ledger & Reporting Team Leader

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is looking for a General Ledger and Reporting Team Leader to manage its GL team within a shared services environment. You will ensure service delivery meets SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and support cross‑functional projects while fostering a collaborative, talent‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the general ledger team to deliver services in line with SLAs and quality standards.
• Monitor and report team performance against KPIs and agreed objectives.
• Coach team members, conduct performance reviews, and implement employee development initiatives.
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvement projects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with internal departments and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Support transition projects and other business‑required duties.

Required profile

• Experience managing teams in a BPO/SSC setting, preferably in general ledger functions.
• Proven track record of meeting Service Level Agreements.
• Experience handling internal or external customer relationships.
• Open mindset for change, proactive problem‑solving, and ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• High energy, drive, and passion for the role.
• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (preferred).
