GCP Scrum Master – Nearshore (Portugal)

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our near‑shore team in Portugal. You will act as a catalyst for organizational agility, guiding cross‑functional, distributed teams through Agile transformation while fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives across distributed teams in multiple time zones.
• Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices and mindset.
• Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to maintain team productivity.
• Collaborate with product owners to manage sprint backlogs, prioritize work and ensure alignment across initiatives.
• Monitor team velocity, burndown charts and other metrics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Identify and communicate risks, dependencies and escalations to leadership in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Minimum three years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience working with near‑shore or distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
