Fullstack Application Developer – Java/Spring & React

About the role

As a Fullstack Application Developer you will design, build and maintain Java‑based internal applications that support Knowledge Services processes and learning tools. You will own the full lifecycle of the solutions, from requirement gathering to deployment, ensuring reliability and scalability for a diverse set of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Build full‑stack solutions, including backend services and web‑based user interfaces.
• Create UI components with JSP, Thymeleaf and/or React.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases to design schemas and optimise queries.
• Deploy and support applications in Linux environments.
• Manage development tasks, bugs and enhancements using Jira.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high‑quality code using Git and established standards.
