Full Stack Developer (React & Java) – French Speaker

About the role

Aubay Portugal is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join its team building critical systems for banking, insurance, telecom and energy clients. You will work on customer‑facing applications such as web‑banking platforms, digital onboarding and Open Banking interfaces, collaborating closely with IT and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and integrate proprietary applications using JavaScript (Backbone, Rivets, React.js) and Java (Spring Boot).
• Ensure code quality and security through testing, code reviews and QA best practices.
• Analyse business requirements and contribute to solution design.
• Maintain functional documentation and support application releases.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and help the team succeed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, customer‑centric solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack development experience, preferably on transactional websites.
• Strong proficiency in English and French (B2+).
• Commitment to integrity, ethics and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize tasks and meet daily commitments.

Required skills

• JavaScript frameworks: Backbone, Rivets, React.js.
• Java: Spring Boot.
• HTML & CSS.
• IDE experience: Eclipse, VS Code, IntelliJ.
• Version control: Git.
• Unit and integration testing.
• Secure coding standards: OWASP, NIST.
• Agile methodologies and tools: Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Artifactory, XRay, Kibana, Spring Boot Admin Console, Figma, Jira.
• Understanding of cloud deployment concepts.
