Full-Stack Developer (Java/React) – Relocation to Spain

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Developer to join Talan’s technology team in Spain. The role focuses on building scalable web applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend, while contributing to cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work in an agile environment alongside product managers, designers and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain full‑stack applications with Java (Spring Boot) and React.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Create responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and deploy applications to Azure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance, scalability and security.
• Participate in code reviews and share engineering best practices.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Full‑Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong backend development skills with Java, preferably Spring Boot.
• Solid frontend experience with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and micro‑services.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience using GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
