Full Stack Developer (Java + React) – Hybrid – Porto

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Java and React expertise to join our Porto hub. The position is hybrid, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility, and supports a variety of client projects across different sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive front‑end applications with React.js, leveraging hooks, state management and routing.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with internal and external systems.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis).
• Maintain code quality using Git version control and perform manual testing, supporting automated testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in English to deliver client solutions.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proficient in Java (8+) and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
