Full Stack Developer (French Speaker)

About the role

Natixis in Portugal is seeking a mid‑level Full Stack Developer who is fluent in French and English. You will join the BPCE‑SI team to design, build, and maintain innovative Java‑based solutions that support the Group’s corporate and investment banking activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring, Hibernate and micro‑service architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects and fellow developers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and mentor junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team.
