Frontend Engineer Internship

About the role

Join Mercedes‑Benz.io as a Frontend Engineer Intern and gain hands‑on experience building modern web interfaces for Mercedes‑Benz digital products. You will work in English alongside experienced engineers and contribute to real‑world solutions from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and evolution of web user interfaces for Mercedes‑Benz digital services.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications with a focus on performance, accessibility, and clean code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including backend, QA, DevOps, product, and design.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional interfaces while adhering to design systems.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high‑quality code.

Required profile

• Recently completed a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Available for a paid 6‑month internship starting in July.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and preferably TypeScript.
• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework such as Vue or React.
• Understanding of core web development concepts and browser behavior.
• Motivation to learn in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
