Frontend Developer – Mobility Business

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our Center of Competence in Aveiro, working on Siemens Mobility’s S3 Passenger platform. You will help create modern, user‑friendly web applications that support intelligent train and infrastructure services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable frontend components using TypeScript, React and Go.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry standards.
• Contribute to new feature design and implementation for the S3 Passenger platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and best practices.
• Occasionally travel to the Netherlands or other locations as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in web development with TypeScript, React and Go.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, CI and CD.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
