Front End Engineer – React, Kotlin, Spring

About the role

We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join our growing team in Porto Salvo, Lisbon. The role focuses on building modern, scalable user interfaces with React while collaborating closely with backend services written in Kotlin and Spring. You will help shape an AI‑enabled platform that delivers seamless experiences to our users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin and the Spring framework.
• Build and enhance RESTful Web APIs with Spring MVC.
• Collaborate with React developers to ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend.
• Contribute to system performance optimisation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Support the evolution of the platform, including the integration of AI‑driven features.

Required profile

• Proven experience building React‑based frontend applications.
• Familiarity with Kotlin or a similar language (Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Strong understanding of Spring, dependency injection and MVC principles.
• Experience creating RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable using modern development tools and working in cross‑functional teams.
• Interest or exposure to AI‑enabled solutions is a plus.
