French‑Speaking Senior Data Analyst / Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Senior Data Analyst & Data Engineer to join a leading banking and financial services client. The role bridges business needs with technical data pipelines, delivering high‑impact insights and supporting smarter decision‑making in a fast‑moving, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical data models and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust star and snowflake data models optimized for analysis and reporting.
• Build, test, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using Stambia or alternative tools such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or dbt.
• Create high‑performance dashboards and reports that enable strategic decisions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and comprehensive documentation, including data lineage and data dictionaries.
• Implement automated data‑quality checks and enhance data‑governance processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or BI development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, optimisations, and stored procedures.
• Solid understanding of data‑modeling principles and data‑warehouse concepts (Kimball methodology).
• Hands‑on experience with Stambia or other ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, SSIS, dbt).
• Professional fluency in English and French (B2 level or higher).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
