French‑Speaking Cybersecurity Specialist (Hybrid, Portugal)

About the role

Amaris Consulting is looking for a French‑speaking Cybersecurity Specialist to join a key partner in Portugal. The position is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work in an international, agile environment. You will protect information systems, ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and work closely with IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and investigate security breaches.
• Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Respond to security incidents and produce post‑event analyses.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to embed security measures across the organization.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
