French-Speaking Helpdesk Support Technician (Remote – Porto)

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Helpdesk Support Technician to join an international support team for a French fintech company that provides cloud‑based accounting and financial management solutions to SMEs. The position is fully remote, based in Porto, Portugal, with a quarterly office visit, and involves handling advanced technical issues across phone, email and chat channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support to French‑speaking customers via phone, email and chat.
• Investigate, analyse and resolve complex application incidents escalated from lower support tiers.
• Identify root causes, document solutions and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Detect recurring problems and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and participate in ongoing training sessions.

Required profile

• Fluent French (C1/C2) and good English (minimum B2).
• Proven experience in technical support, helpdesk or application support.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and comfortable working in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with MySQL.
• Experience using Slack.
• Knowledge of Postman for API testing.
