Freelance Material Scientist (Python) – AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Material Scientist with strong Python skills to help design and validate engineering‑focused AI training content. The work is project‑based, remote, and offers flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design original material engineering problems that mimic real‑world workflows.
• Create Python‑driven tasks that require numerical methods, iterative solutions, or optimization.
• Base problems on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Material Science or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in material engineering.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
• Availability for part‑time, non‑permanent projects.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Numerical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, or Stata (any is a plus).
