Freelance ISO 9001 Auditor (Certified)

About the role

PROQC International is seeking a certified ISO 9001 Auditor on a freelance basis to support quality management system audits across various facilities in Puerto Rico. The role offers immediate start, project‑based assignments and flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and report ISO 9001 audits for client sites.
• Identify non‑conformities, assess processes and verify corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and deliver them within 24 hours of audit completion.
• Travel to different installations or plants across Puerto Rico as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Current certification as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor.
• Proven experience performing quality management system audits.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and high professional integrity.
• Intermediate to advanced English (spoken and written); bilingual Spanish/English is desirable.
• Availability for immediate engagement and flexible project schedules.
