Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

Vodafone Portugal is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to support planning, reporting and performance management processes. The role will own the integrity of financial and non‑financial data reported to Vodafone Group and provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish FP&A as the owner of financial and non‑financial information in reporting systems, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Provide financial and operational insights to support strategic and business decisions.
• Participate in monthly performance reviews, reporting results to local management and the Group.
• Analyse P&L, Capex and Working Capital items, highlighting drivers of variation MoM, YoY and against plan.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of actuals and budget data to Vodafone Group.
• Fulfil Vodafone Portugal’s reporting obligations to external stakeholders and public authorities.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives related to data generation, management and monitoring.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in financial planning, reporting and controlling environments.
• Strong data‑management and analytical capabilities with a focus on data quality.
• Ownership, attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality work on time.
• Effective stakeholder engagement across Finance, Commercial, Technology and Group functions.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
