Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our global financial operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate, timely reporting and strong financial governance across five legal entities in the US, Canada, Belgium, France, and the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting functions including billing, AR, AP, GL, revenue recognition, and cost accounting.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS (including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16) and group accounting policies.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, regulatory filings and internal/external audits.
• Handle cash‑flow reporting, forecasting and payroll review.
• Analyse financial performance, working capital, profitability and EBITDA.
• Partner with business leaders and Group Finance to support decision‑making and growth.
• Support revenue forecasting, sales pipeline analysis and commission calculations.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, controls, systems and reporting.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives such as ERP and forecasting tool implementations.
• Coach, mentor and develop finance team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Preferred Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Proven experience managing accounting, reporting and close processes in a multi‑entity environment.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, planning, analysis and governance.
