Financial Analyst – FP&A Leader

About the role

We are seeking an FP&A Leader to partner directly with the Chief Financial Officer of a fast‑growing solar and storage financing company in Puerto Rico. This position drives financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision‑making while providing high‑visibility executive exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, including three‑statement, cash‑flow and portfolio projections.
• Perform budget‑vs‑actual variance analysis and present key insights to senior leadership.
• Analyze portfolio performance metrics such as originations, collections, yield and losses.
• Support warehouse facility and lender reporting requirements.
• Prepare investor, lender and rating‑agency presentation materials.
• Build KPI dashboards and management reporting packages.
• Assist with systems implementation and process automation, particularly Oracle ERP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in finance or FP&A.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• MBA is a plus; CPA not required.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions).
• Power BI for data visualization.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP (or similar systems).
• Experience with structured finance, asset‑based lending or loan portfolios is preferred.
