Early Career Underwriting Analyst

About the role

AIG is looking for motivated early‑career talent to join its Underwriting Analyst program. You will be part of a cohort that receives structured learning, mentorship and exposure to senior leaders while gaining hands‑on experience in insurance underwriting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist underwriting teams across lines such as Property, Casualty, Cyber and Financial Lines.
• Analyze risk data, prepare pricing recommendations and support decision‑making.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training, masterclasses and cross‑functional projects.
• Collaborate with senior underwriters, actuarial analysts and product specialists.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the underwriting function.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with demonstrated extracurricular achievement.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpersonal abilities.
• Enthusiasm for the insurance industry and a willingness to learn.
