Financial Accounting Specialist – French Market

About the role

Join AnalytiChem Services as a Financial Accounting Specialist supporting the French market. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance activities for our operational entity in France, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks in SAP S/4 Hana, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Maintain bookkeeping in line with French GAAP, IFRS and other applicable standards.
• Manage cash, collections and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, profit & loss, balance sheets and cash‑flow analyses.
• Produce the monthly group reporting package for Corporate Finance.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT, foreign‑trade and other statutory declarations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and handle tax return submissions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards (IFRS, French GAAP).
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP S/4 Hana.
• Experience using ERP and accounting software.
• Analytical mindset with high affinity for numbers.
