Finance Project Manager – Lisbon

About the role

Next Engineering is looking for a Finance Project Manager to lead organisational transformation and operational‑efficiency initiatives for its banking and financial services clients. Based in Lisbon, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement target operating models that drive measurable improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end transformation and operational improvement projects.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication.
• Support process analysis, operating model design and implementation activities.
• Prepare executive‑level presentations and regular project status reports.
• Monitor project progress, risks and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment across teams and business areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑6 years of experience in project management, preferably in management consulting.
• Proven experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational abilities.
• High level of autonomy, decision‑making capability and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.
