Finance Manager – Product Analytics & Insights

About the role

Join AMGEN's Capability Center in Lisbon as a Finance Manager supporting the Product Analytics and Insights group. You will partner with product, therapeutic area, and portfolio governance teams to shape financial strategy, drive investment decisions, and ensure transparent product‑level financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial analyses and decision support to product teams, therapeutic area governance, and portfolio governance.
• Develop integrated financial narratives, scenarios, and insights for product strategy, clinical development, and governance reviews.
• Create consistent, transparent product‑level financial views across development, commercialization, and business‑development opportunities.
• Serve as the primary finance partner for clinical trial investments, delivering forecasting, business case assessments, and financial oversight throughout study lifecycles.
• Maintain global cross‑functional product financial models, including product P&Ls, investment profiles, and value drivers.
• Support external collaborations and strategic partnerships by managing financial deliverables and ensuring contractual compliance.
• Lead portfolio analytics and scenario modeling to evaluate resource allocation, investment returns, and financial implications of development decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance within product‑focused environments, preferably in pharma or biotech.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Track record of managing financial aspects of clinical trials or large R&D projects.
