Finance Business Process Analyst
ag · Lisbon (Airbus Portugal)
Job description
About the role
Airbus Portugal is hiring a Finance Business Process Analyst to support the Finance Transformation team in scaling its analytics and automation capabilities. The role moves beyond direct delivery to enablement: you will be the main point of contact for colleagues who want to automate their own processes, coordinating support, training and governance so business teams can turn their ideas into reality using the core digital stack, mainly Palantir (Skywise), Apps Script or UI Path. You will also help organize and mentor the "Transformer" community and ensure high standards of delivery and compliance across Business Owned Tools (BOTs).
Key responsibilities
- Act as lead technical advisor for self-service automation, empowering internal users to become "Citizen Developers" through discovery sessions and guidance.
- Co-develop, lead or guide projects with Palantir (Skywise) and Google Apps Script, aligned with enterprise architecture and governance.
- Design and deliver training, drop-in sessions and onboarding for the Transformer Network, and run workshops on advanced use of Skywise and Apps Script.
- Ensure compliance around BOTs and coordinate validation, prioritization and technical review of new automation requests.
- Analyze and re-engineer end-to-end business processes, specifying where self-service automation, RPA or data pipelines can replace manual tasks.
- Foster a community of users, share best practices, maintain example pipelines and provide support via chat channels and collaboration sites.
- Contribute to improving the user experience, driving adoption of Data & AI solutions and strengthening customer engagement.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Corporate Finance, International Accounting, Audit or Business IT, with relevant certifications.
- Fluent or negotiation-level English.
- Experience leading digital or finance transformation or large-scale projects and system implementations.
- Proven ability to train, onboard and coach non-technical stakeholders.
Required skills
- Palantir (Skywise): building pipelines, managing datasets, configuring AIP/Skywise applications.
- Google Apps Script: strong JavaScript/Apps Script, building and troubleshooting apps for Google Workspace.
- Data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Change management, project management (Agile/LBIP+) and guiding transformation roadmaps.
- Knowledge of financial mechanisms (consolidation, budgeting, forecasting) and data science methods is a plus.
What we offer
- Diverse career opportunities within Airbus European core countries or other regions.
- Hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.
- Modern office at Parque das Nacoes, close to public transport.
- Motivated team and an intensive onboarding experience.
