Finance Business Analyst

About the role

As a Finance Business Analyst at Airbus Portugal, you will support the transformation of reporting processes and act as a key liaison between finance users and IT teams. You will ensure timely, accurate financial data delivery while continuously improving tools and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for reporting transformation projects in a collaborative environment.
• Qualify, route, and escalate user queries, prioritising them based on urgency.
• Customize, test and deliver solutions, identifying recurring issues and proposing remediation plans.
• Own a portfolio of Reporting, Planning and Controlling applications, responding to queries especially during monthly financial closings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date user documentation and promote it via internal channels.
• Ensure correct BI financial data access in line with Airbus ethics and compliance.
• Deliver user training sessions and advise on optimal ways to obtain financial data.
• Support maintenance of tools, reports and master data following business changes.

Required profile

• Good understanding of finance business processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, budgeting and controlling).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
• Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment and build strong relationships with IT and business users.
