Filling Line Operator

About the role

The Filling Line Operator supports plant production by operating, monitoring, and maintaining filler equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant output. This hands‑on role works in a food‑production environment, handling equipment changeovers, sanitation, and documentation to meet food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate filler and fill‑room equipment such as bag inserters, fillers, uncuffers, and lidding machines following standard procedures.
• Perform start‑up, shut‑down, and routine operation while monitoring alarms and error codes.
• Complete production documentation, including downtime reports, weight checks, and material usage records.
• Execute routine Total Productive Maintenance and basic troubleshooting to sustain equipment performance.
• Support equipment set‑ups, tear‑downs, and changeovers to meet production schedules.
• Carry out required PCP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks and follow reaction plans for food safety and quality events.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of filler equipment and fill‑room areas in accordance with GMPs.
• Handle ingredients, packaging, and product safely, including lifting, staging, and movement as required.
• Assist with rework, repalletization, or other production areas as needed.

Required profile

• Secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or food‑production setting.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic adjustments and equipment support tasks.
• Ability to accurately complete production records and documentation.
• Understanding of food safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, and perform demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Required skills
