Extracurricular Internship: Sustainability & Climate Strategy

About the role

Join Bosch's Aveiro site as an intern supporting the Sustainability & Climate Strategy team. You will help quantify and report the company's carbon footprint while gaining exposure to ESG reporting, data digitalisation and cross‑functional climate initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support calculation, analysis and reporting of the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) for sustainability reporting and Science‑Based Targets initiative (SBTi) compliance.
• Coordinate data collection and validation for Scope 3 emissions, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and global sustainability reporting.
• Collaborate with software development teams to digitalise sustainability data.
• Monitor climate‑related market trends, customer expectations and regulatory developments in the HVAC industry.
• Work with international cross‑functional teams to advance decarbonisation projects.

Required profile

• Background in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in environmental management, ESG, sustainability or product development is a plus.
• Very good command of English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Analytical, structured and proactive working style with strong organisational skills.
• Responsible, communicative and enthusiastic about sustainability.
