Extracurricular Internship in Material Planning & Supply Chain

About the role

This 12‑month extracurricular internship supports Bosch's Home Comfort division in Aveiro by planning and sourcing materials, monitoring logistics performance, and assisting new product launches. You will work with internal and external suppliers to optimise inventory while ensuring data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and source materials from internal and external suppliers while optimising inventory levels.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, identify availability risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product launches and engineering changes, maintaining accurate master data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or operations planning is a plus.
• Knowledge of logistics concepts and Lean principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
• Organised, detail‑oriented, analytical and able to work independently or in a team.
