External Communications & Employer Branding Manager (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Blip is seeking an External Communications & Employer Branding Manager on a maternity‑cover basis to lead the development and execution of its external visibility and employer brand strategy. Reporting to the Head of Communications, Employer Branding & External Affairs, you will oversee a team of communications and content specialists and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement brand strategies that support Blip’s location and business objectives.
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure uniform brand expression on digital platforms, social media, press releases and corporate communications.
• Design and deliver external communication plans, produce press‑ready content and manage media relations.
• Coordinate with global and corporate communications teams to align Blip’s presence with Flutter Entertainment group principles.
• Handle media inquiries, draft statements and organise events or institutional campaigns.
• Develop and promote the employer value proposition, creating content for career sites and social channels to attract top talent.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external communications and employer branding, preferably within a technology or sports‑entertainment environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team of specialists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a track record of building media relationships.
• Strategic thinker capable of aligning brand initiatives with business outcomes.
