Event Staff Supervisor

About the role

The Event Staff Supervisor oversees guest‑relations activities at event venues, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for attendees. This position requires strong communication, quick problem‑solving, and the ability to coordinate with managers and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, check, and direct guests as they enter the building.
• Screen guests for prohibited items such as cameras or video equipment.
• Secure event areas, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor crowd behavior before, during, and after events.
• Communicate issues and solutions to managers via two‑way radio.
• Identify hazards, create safe logistics, and complete incident reports when needed.
• Maintain professional customer service standards and handle complaints.
• Support the Director of Event & Security and the Event & Security Manager with additional duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• At least one year of related experience in customer service, event staffing, or security.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
