About the role

Optum is seeking a senior leader to oversee its Country Security Operations Center (CSOC) in San Juan, PR. The role provides operational leadership for integrated security functions, ensuring 24/7/365 coverage and alignment with global enterprise security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day CSOC operations, integrating physical security monitoring, intelligence operations, and travel security.
• Supervise the SOC Supervisor and ensure continuous coverage by SOC Operators across all shifts.
• Provide administrative oversight for Intelligence Operations Analyst and Travel Operations Analyst, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
• Drive operational excellence, talent development, and continuous improvement across CSOC functions.
• Document and standardize CSOC processes to enable replication in future centers.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a Security Operations Center or equivalent security function.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with a focus on talent development.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with global security leadership.
