About the role

We are looking for a full-time Prevention Specialist to join our harm-reduction program in Punto Fijo. The role involves linking participants with clinical and non-clinical services, transporting them to appointments, and supporting data management and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and refer participants to appropriate health and social services.
• Transport participants to treatment and essential services.
• Create and maintain participant records and enter program data.
• Assist the coordinator in drafting reports in Spanish or English.
• Design educational and informational presentations.
• Provide OPE (Orient, Test, Link) for HIV and HCV.
• Distribute educational and preventive materials.
• Support community needs assessment and resource identification.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent in social work, psychology, sociology or related fields.
• Experience in community work or prevention programs.
• Organized, able to work independently.
• High cultural sensitivity to diverse and priority populations.
