Clinical Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth operation of clinical services. Acting as a liaison between members, healthcare providers, and internal teams, the role guarantees timely communication and compliance with organizational protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and send communications such as letters, reports, and presentations, and coordinate meetings and equipment requests.
• Prepare presentations, reports, graphs, and other documentation while following up with eligibility, benefits verification, and payment departments.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, accurately routing them to clinical or relevant departments.
• Proactively contact members to verify provider information and keep records current.
• Assess service requests for compliance, submit authorizations through operational platforms, and track pending cases.
• Maintain HIPAA‑compliant filing systems and produce detailed reports to meet productivity and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with hospital representatives or medical groups to monitor service delivery and address issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or associate’s degree with 60‑64 university credits, or high school diploma with relevant experience).
• At least six months (or one year for associate level) of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in clinical or administrative roles.
• Basic proficiency in English and Spanish (comprehensive, writing, and verbal).
• Ability to comply with company policies, local, federal, and industry regulations.
