Entrepreneurship Support VISTA Member

About the role

The AmeriCorps VISTA member will work at the Neeuko Innovation Center to strengthen entrepreneurship and economic opportunity in Santurce and surrounding communities. This full‑time, 12‑month service focuses on building sustainable support systems, educational resources, and strategic partnerships for low‑income aspiring entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and develop entrepreneurship resource inventories.
• Create business development guides, training materials, outreach resources, and partnership databases.
• Design tracking, evaluation tools, and standardized organizational procedures.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings and strengthen collaborations with businesses, community organizations, and support agencies.
• Support entrepreneurship workshops, business development initiatives, and create sustainability and knowledge‑management resources.

Required profile

• College graduate (any discipline) and at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site at the Neeuko Innovation Center.
• Car recommended for travel within the service area.
