About the role

The Secondary School Principal serves as the instructional, operational, and cultural leader of the secondary program, overseeing high‑quality teaching and learning across all grades. This role drives a shared vision, ensures student achievement, and advances continuous professional growth for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the expansion and alignment of the secondary program, ensuring clear graduation pathways and college‑career readiness.
• Supervise instructional programs, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement of academic standards.
• Manage school operations including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, facilities, and compliance with federal programs such as Title I, II, IV, IDEA and PEI.
• Oversee student assessment data, monitor progress, and implement targeted interventions for at‑risk learners.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, high‑expectation culture and build strong partnerships with families, community stakeholders, universities and employers.

Required profile

• Certification as a Secondary School Principal; Master’s or Doctorate in school administration preferred.
• Minimum three years of successful experience as an administrator in an educational setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and students, manage budgets, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
