Engineering Tools Support Engineer

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for an Engineering Tools Support Engineer to boost engineering productivity. You will coordinate, manage access, and provide operational support for key engineering platforms such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, and Slack.

Key responsibilities

• Support and administer core engineering tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Slack, and related integrations).
• Own end‑to‑end request execution, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and SLA compliance.
• Manage the full ticket lifecycle: triage, prioritization, routing, tracking, and closure.
• Identify and resolve blockers by coordinating across cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation with high data quality and traceability.
• Serve as the primary interface for tool users, delivering clear status updates and managing expectations.
• Execute standardized support processes and drive continuous improvement and automation adoption.

Required profile

• Experience supporting engineering productivity tools (IC1‑IC3 level acceptable).
• Strong ability to manage workflows, tickets, and stakeholder communications.
• Proactive problem‑solver with attention to detail and process discipline.
